COVENANT REGION C.P. WOMEN'S MINISTRY
EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING REPORT
The Executive Committee of the Covenant Region CPWM met on March 1, 2013, at the Highland CP Church.
President Sidney Milton opened the meeting with prayer. Those in attendance were Sidney Milton, President, Elaine York, Secretary, Donna Robertson, Treasurer, Paula Bell, Past President, Brenda Shoulta, Secretary Elect, and Marlene Wallace, representative from Highland CPWM. President Elect Lora Kerner was absent and excused.
The committee discussed plans for the upcoming spring meeting scheduled for April 20, 2013 at the Highland Church. Tentative assignments were made for program participants for the day.
Holding future Executive Committee meetings at the host church, similar to what Covenant Presbytery does, was discussed. This would allow the officers to be familiar with the location of the church and to have a representative of the host CPWM be present and participate in the planning of the Regional Meeting. This was agreed on by consensus.
Also discussed was the possibility of having a workshop for reviewing the Women's Ministry Guidelines and training for local officers, both current and future. This would be open to all women in Covenant Region. A date of August 17, 2013, at 10:00 AM was selected and Sidney will contact the Fredonia Church about the availability of their building for this workshop. The agenda for this will be completed at a future date.
A motion was made, seconded and passed to adjourn.
The meeting was closed in prayer.
